Works with Long-Lasting Diamond Resin Polishing Pads
The polisher uses diamond resin polishing pads (sold separately), which are secured to the head with Velcro backing to ensure consistent and powerful finishes--even on arches and curves. The life of the polishing pads is extended thanks to the central water supply, which binds dust into a slurry. This evenly distributes film between the head and the stone and creates a hydroplaning action that forms a smooth surface to prolong pad life.
Engineered for Safety and Durability
The Flex Compact Wet Polisher features a GFCI operator protection circuit breaker that is integrated into the cord. With a required response sensitivity of less than 15 milliseconds, the GFCI protection will keep you safe from electrical shock.
For durability, carbon holder covers protect the carbons from dirt and water, and a brush cap guard keeps the brushes clean. The carbon brushes also have a shut-off feature to protect the motor against damage.

I've been using the Flex 1503 for many years. Use to get 2 to 3 years use out of a polisher. This one is already crapping out after a few months. ( Brand new ) Keeps tripping with water. Water spry gets sucked into the motor and soaks the brushes. Too much down time with this polisher. Constantly having to dry the brushes.

This tool and all Flex tools are excellent quality and typically good German engineering.This purchase was a direct replacement for Lw1503 we bought five years ago.If we had properly cleaned and maintained the previous one it probaby wouldhave lasted another 5 years. It is essential to clean after use otherwise theslurry mix from marble polishing will rot out the gaskets that keep the water fromthe electrical feed to the bushes and commutator , causing shocks to the operator !Not good when standing on a wet floor .
