They are skimpy. I mean they are not wide to give me room to work wit my fingers. They are about an 1/8th of an inch too thin, you put your hands and fingers over the numbers. I am waiting to see how long they last. The first one I ever had was good for everything. It was made in USA and lasted 64 years before it was given to its second owner.

Look at the photo of the metric readings. The CM value is 'floating'/centered by the half centimeter line. I used these tapes with volunteers to measure and they were constantly reading by half a centimeter to a centimeter off (this may not be an issue to all users, for our function, it was).

I was worried at first because they seemed really small when I opened them but they are standard size, they are designed to be thinner and more compact. Love the colors. I was tired of looking all over the house for our 1 measuring tape so I got this pack and it has been very convenient. Very happy with these.
