Super convenient to have. These seem to be very well made, and I expect they will hold up for a long time. And as a bonus, there is a bottle opener. No complaints.

My partner is an avid fisherman and needed a good set of scissors to put in his tackle box so he would stop stealing mine! The scissors are pretty big at 10.2 inches and come with a protective sheath. This is a multi-purpose tool! It can be used for fin clipping, fish scaling, hook cutting, bottle opening, and as your typical pair of scissors. They come apart so you can cut fish!It would be a great gift for the fisher in your life!

Item arrived timely and as described. Has fantastic cutting power to work through lines, hooks or helping to remove from fish. Versatility in product use. Seems to handle the water well without rusting. Good value for the money!

The FLISSA 10" Fishing Scissors are a great tool for anyone who enjoys fishing. The stainless steel blades are sharp and efficient, making cutting through fishing line and even cleaning fish a breeze. The detachable design is convenient, and the included fin clipper and fish scaler are great additions. The non-slip grip ensures a secure hold, which is essential when handling wet or slippery fish.My only issue with this product is the handle design—it feels a bit uncomfortable after extended use. The grip could be improved for better comfort, but overall, the performance of the scissors is excellent. If you're looking for versatile, sharp fishing scissors with useful additional features, these are a solid choice!

Been using normal kitchen scissors and these are better than expected, good grips and sharp cutting making it so much easier to cut up your baits.

I had a set of fishing scissors I got in 1986 that finally needed to be replaced so I ordered the Flissa 10" Fishing Scissors. The scissors come in a nice box that is very giftable. They come in a sheath that protects the scissors from accidentally cutting or having them separate. The design of the handle is ergonomic and is very comfortable. The one problem I have is that opening and closing the blades is tighter than I would like. You can see how it rubs in my picture. I will add some type of lubricant to try to get it to loosen up a little. The blades are VERY sharp. You will have no problem cutting through fish, meat or anything else. The back of one of the blades is serrated and has an indentation to cut fishing line. The other blade is sharpened on both sides and acts as a knife when it is separated. The scissors are easy to separate into two pieces but the "nut" is snug enough that it won't accidentally separate. The sheath snaps into place and requires a bit of pressure to pull it off so it isn't going to accidentally come loose either.I like these scissors. Aside from the tightness of the blades when opening and closing I think it is well designed and heavy duty. For only $17 (on sale for $14 at the time of this review) I think they are well worth the price tag.

The FLISSA 10" Stainless Steel Fishing Scissors has a lot going on with a Fishing Line Cutter, Fishing Shears, Fin Clipper, Fish Scaler, and essential Bottle Opener. It’s a nice package and designed to give you all the tools to quickly prepare a fish for a meal. It comes apart by twisting the handles open far enough to disengage the two halves. This exposes the knife edges and scaler a bit more and can make it so two persons can share tasking. The grips are large and have some ergonomic design that both helps and hinders a bit. I find that the scissor loop designed for your thumb to not be very comfortable or designed to allow you thumb to rest easily in the loop. For my hands it just feels a bit awkward with my thumb not being able to be in a comfortable position. It’s really my only issue with the design other than the protective sheath covering the essential bottle opener. Other than that, it is sturdy, made from solid materials that have a good finish and easily replaces several tools/blades in your fish cleaning kit down to one tool that would be a great addition to any tackle box.
