I like this Floating Hand Grip, Waterproof Monopod Anti-Loss Handheld Floaty Pole Stick with my little action camera. It's smaller than most others I've seen and the bright yellow color is a plus. The textured grip along with the hand strap make it easy to hang on to. Floats nicely though if you do lose hold.If I used my underwater lighting rig it doesn't quite have enough buoyancy for it but I'd use another in that case. Perfectly suited to just the camera and housing and a decent value for that.

This grip serves two purposes: a solid gripping surface and buoyancy for a GoPro if dropped. The plastic is relatively stout but slightly flexible. It's up to the task but it does feel slightly brittle when squeezed; I suspect this is by design as I'd much rather have the handle break under impact than the relatively expensive dive housing.The handle is positively but not excessively bouyant. If dropped, it will keep the camera from sinking but it does not fight when taken under water. It's a tool for surface and immediate subsurface use with a GoPro and it works well for that.The wrist lanyard is OK but nothing special. You'll probably end up swapping it for another in your collection of GoPro gadgets.
