Item arrived on time.The cardboard packing looked as if it had been frequently opened and resealed. The wrapping paper around the support stick, again looked well used, but the stand appeared to be in good condition.The telescopic action would pullout to the required length as advertised, but the locking nuts for the two sections were both completely solid. No amount of hand pressure could move them in any direction and using any form of pliers, or mole grips would certainly damage the plastic nuts. I suspect this stand has been rejected by previous buyers for the same reason I'm returning it. Hence the battered packaging. I'm now waiting for the item to be collected.

Frankly, I was amazed by how nice this stick was. So much stuff you buy online is junk. This is sturdy, easy to adjust and appears to be of high quality.

upon inspection it looked just what I wanted. HOWEVER!!!! The adjustment rings? Instead of being made of two piece they are one, so no adjustment whatsoever. I repacked it within about twenty seconds of unpacking. Don't waste your money as it's just a total waste of money. This is just the one in a hundred items I have ever bought that I would give a less than one star but this has just ranked the top spot!!!!!

This shooting stick is easy to extend and use. The cradle holds my rifle well, with a grippe rubber coating. My biggest compliant is that even fully extended the stick is far too short for me to use effectively. If you are only 5 foot tall this may be for you, but I'm average height and it is at least 6 inches too short. It is a shame too, as in all other aspects this is just what I needed.
