First lid flower arranger I've used, I had always used the stems to support other stems. This tangle of stems works most of the time, but is not time-consuming to get right and always looks a bit haphazard. This arranger allows you to create more dome-shaped arrangements. You simply start around the edges so that you can see the middle holes as you work the circle. Much less fiddling. Recommend.

This flower holder in stainless steel is easy to use on some vases. On the right size vase or other holder, this steel lid/holder makes flower arranging simple. Floral stems stay in place and the holder looks pretty too. I have a lot of garden flowers I like to make into simple arrangement for my table and this flower frog is perfect for it!

This stainless flower frog does what it says it'll do, mostly. I do find that the holes are very large, except for very thick-stemmed flowers, like tulips. That means it's not as easy as it could be to arrange the flowers, since they slide around and have to be adjusted quite a bit to stand up properly. I expect this would work best with the big grocery-store-style bouquets with lots of thick-stemmed greenery to bulk up the structure. For that purpose, it's just fine. Otherwise, it's more fidgety than I expected.

Well designed and constructed. I had 20 plus flowers to arrange in a vase with an opening just under 4" in opening and this did a great job. Flowers looks like they could have been professionally arranged. I will get an extra one since these do such a good job.

My husband often surprises me with a bunch of flowers (lucky me!) and I am terrible at arranging them in a vase! This item has made it so much easier and the results are much more attractive! Helps the stems to stand up straight, evenly spaced, and makes me look like I know what I'm doing. :)
