Bought 2 of these for 2 different Chevy trucks. The sound is good, but as the RPMs go up so does the internal rattling! Both do this since day 1! They sound like half of the internals are not welded at all! It is completely ridiculous that a muffler this expensive, $180+ each would have such poor quality! The Chinese manufacturing is definitely sub par! The other kicker is that they are welded into the exhaust system and will be a huge pain in the ass to cut out and try to repair! Very disappointed indeed!!

Great sounding muffler. Installed on 2013 Ram 3.6 Pentastar. This muffler is not overly loud but will make your presence known. Made my v6 ram sound pretty aggressive. It has a deep exhaust note with a throaty sound in my truck with the resonator removed. Mpg stayed about the same. Torque though did seem to improve as it is much more responsive accelerating.

It is not a bad product, it seems to be well made, however it is not as quiet as advertised. Sound is not crazy but definitely more than stock. The drone inside the cab is quite bad also

The following words are from my wife since I put this on her car. "Rumbly beast growl; throaty. Powerful roar when putting the pedal down but not overbearing. Very nice! Feels like you're charging a stampede!"I didn't need the dual outlet. Muffler shop took care of that real well.

Put this in place of a Y-pipe on my 05 Silverado with a 5.3. I went through a flowmaster 50, 40 and a straight pipe before this. I was looking to finally settle on a little rumble but yet nice enough to drive down the highway or drive at night without waking the neighbors up! This muffler has a nice low rumble to it but yet is pretty mellow. I love the quality of it too.

I wanted to upgrade the exhaust on my '14 hemi Ram truck, and I guess due to the fact I'm getting a little older I didn't want the usual loud, rumbling exhaust note with the annoying interior droning that you get from most flowmaster, magnaflow, and other kits. I only wanted a little more sound than factory sound, so I bought this muffler (couldn't find this muffler in a kit) and separate stainless steel tailpipes (2.5" Dynomax brand from Autozone no less). I installed these parts myself, but I wish I wouldn't have because I couldn't get them to fit perfectly. They're pretty good, but a shop could've done better. Anyway, I got exactly what I wanted in the exhaust note! The truck sounds great when on the gas, but at highway speeds there's absolutely no interior drone! I absolutely love the muffler!

Not very happy! I had a short Dynomax turbo muffler with single in & dual out on my 07 GMC Sierra that I just recently bought & wanted something quieter so I did my homework & found this Flowmaster that claimed to be almost as quiet as stock, NOT!!! It's nearly as loud now as it was with the Dynomax & the drone when pulling my rv is painful. I called Flowmaster to discuss noise level & why they claim it's advertised as almost as quite as stock & all I got from SA on the phone was this is our quietest muffler, sorry nothing we can do, go back to stock. So I just spent $225 for muffler & install that I can't stand!!!

I have been searching for months for the right tone. never thought i'd go with a Flowmaster until i heard it on the same style truck as mine. It has that low deep tone at idle but at open throttle sounds mean. no raspy sound just clean and crisp. No drone in cab. Would recommend to a friend.

I bought this muffler hoping to quiet down my exhaust and it did lower the sound level but not what I would have thought. I had a 2004 Silverado with a 5.3 and it still was a had some drone on the highway
