Not real loud. Sounds good though.Good quality and I think I gained when it comes to fuel milage.Bought for a 1992 ford f150 5.0Straight pipe was louder but this sounds better.

If you have an older ford f150 or mustang with a vi these make them come alive with an excellent deep tone sound. I'm extremely pleased with these mufflers

I found this item pretty easy to install, and it sounds great. It's got just enough growl without the vehicle becoming obnoxiously loud. Just be aware that there's a good chance that you will also need to order some filler pipe, as the Flowmaster itself isn't very long.

I put this on my 02 Nissan Xterra. I had the stock muffler removed and this installed so I had both sets of cats. Which might explain why it was quieter than advertised. I had it on my Xterra for about a month before I rolled it so I can’t vouch for the longevity of the product. It was quality made and I plan to put one on my 02 4Runner soon

Love this muffler I installed this on a 96 Toyota Tacoma 3rz-Fe 4 cylinder, dose not make it sounds rice, in fact it makes it sounds more like a v8 when idling. Well crafted product only thing is over time it will rot out from the inside due to the engine emissions h20 included in those emissions, so just had to drill a drain for that water.

Bought mine in early September, and had it welded in my 1989 F250 with 302...retaining Ford's twin cat system. It's taken about 200 miles for things to settle in and sound to improve. Since the twin cats are essentially mufflers, the Flowmaster isn't noticeable at idle. However, in the dig, it really livens up with that classic 302 growl.I immediately noticed better flowing exhaust, which gave me more power...I guess the 29 year old original was plugged uo a bit. Since I went with center in/center out, instead of the side in/center out, we had to add a bend in the inlet pipe...which ultimately tucked the muffler above the frame rails, where I wanted it to be. Ford originally had it hanging below the rails, allowing it to be seen, which I've never been a fan of..Very happy with the purchase so far, and enjoying the classic 302 growl. BTW...there's not much interior drone, since its location didnt change. When I eventually loose the cats in favor of a high flow, I suspect the level of drone will change.

Went on 1994 F150 Supercab w/5.0L and stock everything else exhaust wise. Expected it to be a little louder honestly. Haven't driven it enough to really break it in yet so will see where it ends up sound wise. Fingers crossed for just a bit more. Interior drone isn't bad, can't complain there. If I had to do it over I would go with a regular 40 series I think, still happy though.

the sound of this muffler is great. i had it on a 97 chevy truck. sound was good at idle and all through the rpm range. has a drone at like 1500rpm when the engine is under load but that didnt bother me. i was surprised how quick it got rusty though. i recommend if you want a good value muffler you cant beat a glasspack. i have flowtech red hots on my car and my truck now. cant beat the price, sound or how long they last.
