The muffler in the box is not the same construction as the pictures, it has no curved panels to guide the flow, and only flows through part of the housing. It is a very poor flowing design compared to the pictures in the ad

Muffler not as advertised. It's Aluminized, not Stainless.

Sounds so much better than the stock muffler. Not to loud either.

The muffler was advertised as being stainless. It’s really aluminized steel. Oh well the price was right.

As others have stated Dynomax has tried to pull a fast on on the consumer by subbing out something completely different than what they advertise (even on the box it comes it). No flow deflector, in its place there is just a "bump" in the case. Instead of the air being redirected smoothly 180 degrees it now hits a wall, then 2" over theres an indent. The tubes themselves are advertised as "large internal diameter tubes improve flow". Well for the 2.5" inlet/outlet it necks down several times, all the way down to 1.9". Its also not even a true turbo muffler because the 3 tubes dont run the entire length of the muffler, on one end it stops and hits a wall about halfway then is redirected. As for the "Fiberglass matting technology" a single pieces of extremely thin fiberglass tape, maybe 4"x4" in the center of the muffler is all there is. I dont know if dynomax could no longer produce these the way they advertised and shoehorned in some other failed design in its place hoping nobody would actually look inside but the deception is definitely intentional. Sad to see.

Arrived on time, but the product itself was wrong, it was stamped correctly and even boxed correctly but there were no flow deflectors from what we can figure out the inside of this muffler is actually the walker quiet design. Amazon took it back with no issues so no problem just going to try another brand

Dynaxmax website said it is stainless steel. The one I got is not. Old Stock? For a few bucks more I could have purchased on ebay that described made of stainless steel. I took a chance and never again!

I've had many different kinds of performance mufflers over the years (borla, flowmaster,summit...) and it's all a matter of taste. I do know as I get older I'm not looking for so much noise. These have a great performance car sound without being obnoxious. I'm not sure why dynomax doesn't sell more turbo mufflers in cat backs.

Exactly as described. Nice and quiet, a little louder than stock, but not much. This model has slits cut into the inlet and outlet pipes, proven to make it easier to clamp, our to weld, but they are not pictured.
