These are built well with durable mesh, a super strong velcro strip, and good wire boning to keep from sliding down. Also, the felt trim piping is wonderful to prevent any chafing. Be sure and view the measurements shared within the Amazon advertisement images for correct fit. I find the size offered works well on my 15.2hh Quarter and Thoroughbred mare with good sized bone mass.
