Best solder station I’ve owned, temperature can easily be controlled and sleep mode easily achieved to save soldering tips from damage.

I been using it for small cables and it does the job, but when you start soldering bigger parts it doesn't work.

Only a few reviews for the 200 and 245. This thing is a beast for heating up. I think that was my problem the 1st few times, too hot. Start way low because it says it calibrated the temp but it still seemed a bit hot. Maybe?? Now, my review is only after a week. I keep the tip tinner on hand for the fine tips cause they don't hold the solder that well but I'm impressed for a over seas model, for sure. Build quality is heavy duty. I haven't used all the tips but it's a nice built machine.

Very nice and compact unit. I create electronic gizmos and I need a medium to high power soldering unit. The easy at which the tips are changed is very impressive. Going from tiny tip to medium and the back easy quickly done. The power setting is super easy and very finely controlled. Different Temps for different solders.

I like this unit, but the small handle makes a suspicious electrical noise when in use, so I stopped using it. I was concerned for my safety.Updated on 2/21/2024:The manufacturer, FNIRSI, reached out to me to investigate the cause of the problem. We exchanged a few messages, and I sent them a video of the unit while it was making that electrical noise I mentioned. They shared the information with their technical staff and decided to refund my purchase. For this reason, I updated my review to 4 stars. I received a unit that had some kind of issue, but the manufacturer stood behind their product and took the time to sort it out. This is rare in today's market, so I must congratulate FNIRSI for taking my feedback seriously.

The soldering station has been performing exceptionally well. It heats up almost instantly and includes a good variety of tips. I own the model with both the 245 and 210 handles. However, the smaller 210 handle comes with fewer tip options compared to the 245 handle.Switching between the handles can be inconvenient, as you need to unplug one to connect the other, which requires pulling firmly on the cable—a process that could be smoother. Additionally, the power cable can get in the way when the station is placed in tight spaces.Another issue arises when changing tips for the 210 handle. The indents on the 210 tips are too small for the tip changer to grip securely, causing it to slip through. This makes it nearly impossible to replace the small tips without using needle-nose pliers. In contrast, the 245 tips work perfectly, thanks to their larger indents that allow for easy swapping.Occasionally, there’s also a problem with the station failing to register the tips when they are swapped out. While this doesn’t happen often, it’s worth noting.Despite these flaws, this is one of the best affordable cartridge soldering stations with dual handles that I’ve found on the market.

This is what you need for the newer electronics. It has all the features you will need and more. It functions right out of the box and includes plenty of tips. I am very impressed. It works well as replacing my Hakko 888.
