These filters were exactly what I needed. The 86mm size is apparently pretty scarce nowadays. These are well built and can do the job. As with all single lens designs you get some spherical aberration that's only evident at very long extensions, but at the other end of the spectrum you will see quite a strong curve to the field of focus when your camera is pointed at distant objects. Using two of the filters in conjunction flattens the field curvature significantly but also increases the spherical aberration.
