Nice product but steam leaks easily between the layers which seems like it makes it take longer to juice.

This is well made and inexpensive. I made grape juice - it was super easy to use and rendered down masses of grapes in a couple of hours. I am glad I finally splurged.

For years I have tossed my seeded berries into a large stainless steel pot and went through the motions or straining to remove seeds. No more! I finally found this beauty making that extra step a thing of the pass. Granted, I do miss having the fruit pulp from blackberries in my jam, however, I will live! Some of it will pass through into the juice who is fine by me. My former mother-in-law had a juicer steamer similar to this and could never find one. My fault I suppose , I didn’t know what the term for it was! Cleans up beautifully. Watch your water level to be sure you don’t run out. Design is very nice. My only complaint or concern is what happens when I need a new drain tube?
