A friend recommended this to me after cutting my finger on braided line. I YouTube'd it and no one had nothing negative to say about it. So I ordered one. Now that I've used it a few times, I'm honestly impressed. And because I'm no longer worried about cutting my finger, I can really put some power on the rod. I cut an X in a tennis ball a inserted a 5oz sinker into the ball. I can reliably cast it over 100 yards, where before, I was happy hitting 75 yards.

This thing is great! I surf fish in Galveston a few times a year and this definitely allowed me to reach out further in my cast. I would speculate I achieved at least an extra 20 yards.

Trying to cast a 3-4 ounce rig with braided line is very difficult. This makes the task a no-brainer.
