This steel mesh worked well. It was slightly difficult to cut, but I won't knock it in the rating because I didn't have sharp tools. I was able to bend it and shape it without it breaking.

I needed a sifter for a cat litter box, which uses pellets. This is exactly what I needed. It has holes small enough to not let the pellets pass thru, while letting the ground up sawdust to get sifted out.

So unfortunately this wasnt exactly the right size for the project I had in mind. I think it should still work but it came in a pretty large single sheet folded over once. It's almost certainly actual stainless steel as it's very tough especially considering it's thickness . It's bendable but is difficult to bend far enough to make it stay was hard to get the bend out to be honest. Would definitely work for keepinganimals out. For sure they aint chewing threw it although I'm probably gonna use it as a core for my repackable exhaust. Should worked and last forever practically

I needed some wire mesh to block off some gaps around the built-in gas grill in my outdoor cooking island. I needed something which is resistant to heat and rust and is strong and stiff enough to keep critters (packrats) from chewing or pushing through while still allowing airflow. This stainless mesh fits the bill perfectly.While I didn't get out my calipers to measure the wire diameter and opening sizes, I do believe that it meets the listed dimensions. It came as a single sheet loosely folded in half- the fold was not sharp and could easily be straightened if desired. I was able to easily cut the mesh with heavy duty shop scissors, side cutter pliers or tin snips also would do the job. Because the wires are pretty fine, the edges of the mesh are fairly sharp. I would advise using leather gloves to avoid scratches and cuts.It can easily be bent and molded to the desired shape, but is stiff enough to hold its shape once in place. The mesh itself is held together by crimping and weaving- the joints are not welded together like in heavier duty hardware cloth. As a result, there can be a little bit of "fraying" at the edges, but this can easily be fixed by sliding the wires back into place.

I use mesh screen to make my own screens for torch jewelry work.- this mesh looks very durable to be able last for many, many torching sessions- it's always a little tricky to cut mesh due to the sharp edges. I use special mesh gloves for cutting metal.- need sturdy shears to cut- good price value
