I guess it's possible that I'm just not using it correctly? I have not a clue about anything to do with handyman tools or anything of the sort. For some reason, I was under the impression that I could use this to slice wood neatly lol. That was an absolute fail, this was a mistake. Unless I'm not using it right or not strong enough?? I'm taking about somewhat thin slabs of wood and tbh my first try was on cardboard which did not come out well either.I will say, it came in handy when there was a wasp trying to build a nest in the crevice of my trunk. The guys who brought out my Walmart pick up order were helpful and one used this tool to kill the wasp and knock down the nest. I'm sure that doesn't much help those looking to use this for regular purposes but it did come in handy in that situation. It is a good size like this is big but not too huge! I just had a hard time cutting anything with it. Nothing came out clean or smooth. So im not very satisfied with this thing. Hopefully this helps or other reviews add to what info you're seeking.Thx for readingSigned, a silly little girl who absolutely does not use tools

These are handy for camping or little chores around the yard. I was able to cut up some downed limbs for a campfire easily. The blade folds in for safe traveling and locks open nicely. The handle is a good size for my average hand width and feels sturdy.

I thought this was an excellent hand saw to have around when it’s needed. I recently took this camping to have on hand for firewood, making marshmallow roasting sticks, and let me know a tree to make room for a personal Hamic. It made the work so much easier than using a hatchet or an ax, and the precision was very fine. The grip on the handle of the saw is nice and secure. The blade is super sharp I think for the value of this saw you’re getting a high quality I’d highly recommend it just to have on hand.

This saw is advertised for gardening, as well as for cutting live/dead wood to be used as firewood. I was actually saving this for an upcoming camping trip. But I was having a heck of a time trying to cut 1/2'' thick slab of wood with a backsaw that came with a mitre box. I took this out and it made quick work of it as the backsaw should have in the first place.Moving forward, the handle grips well and feels quite sturdy despite it lacking a tang for obvious reasons. Furthermore, the blade comes with two notches to allow two different cutting angles. One lays the saw out flat whereas the other situates the blade pointing about 30 degrees upwards relative to the handle. I gather the latter would come handy for situations where you'd like to trim or cut branches above the height of the user.To close, this is a well made folding saw that cuts well and stores away easily. It's quite affordable at low $10 at the time of writing to boot. 5 out of 5 stars.

This has a thin blade (0.9mm), with some kind of lacquer coating. The teeth are slightly wider than blade (1.5mm).It does not lock closed. It locks into 2 positions, one straight, and the other about 15 degrees more. The lock release is thick metal, about 5mm thick.Fairly compact saw, about 24cm long. A bit big for a pocket still. The handle is black plastic with a orange hard rubbery foam overmold. It has a hang hole for pegboard, lanyard, etc.Makes a very clean cut. Fine sawdust. Not as quick as a larger saw due to the small chip size, but it gets the job done. The blade is fixed to the handle with a large shoulder bolt and plain nut. Can be adjusted too suit ease of opening.Weighs 183g (6.4oz).

This hand saw will work in a pinch, but the blade is to flimsy to be reliable. I could see it being a problem when trying to saw through a thicker limb.Other than that the handle is comfortable, and it is nice that the saw locks into two different positions, which can help get leverage in different situations. One of the locks feels like it is more for over head, or reaching out to cut something. The second lock feels like it is designed when working around waist level, as if you were cutting a limb for firewood on the ground.
