This product will not plant a 1/4 acre. It came up and is growing fine. But not the 1/4 acre.

I prepped my seed bed by spraying a month in advance, then dragging a chain harrow over it to remove most of the debris. I broadcast right before a rain and fertilized once. You could now trust fall into my plot because it came in so thick.Update:The plot is still very tall and thick, because the deer aren't touching it. I've hunted within sight of this plot a handful of times and have watched deer walk right through the end planted with Buck Brunch to hit the rye grain and Honey Hole on the other end.Came in great, with little effort, but thus far deer aren't interested in it.

This plot mix was absolutely amazing! I used a chainsaw, rake, loppers, lime, and 10-10-10 fertilizer to do it. I cleared about an 1/8 acre by hand then used roundup about a gallon of it to kill weeds then raked down to bare dirt. After that (2 days later) when I knew a rain storm was coming the following day I went out and limed (about 250-300#) then immediately after I spread maybe 10# of 10-10-10 fertilizer then the following day after the rain I spread the seed and wow!! Absolutely amazing stuff if you take the time to do it right!
