They where little hesitant to eat at first bought some oats and black bird seed mixed it up now I'm on my third 50lb bag winters only half over next year will be putting down a fall and winter plot, but it stopped them from pulling up and eating my grass I planted in the fall just before winter. They also look much healthier then most the deer I've seen.

Bought this because of excellent reputation of Purina. But our local deer completely refused to eat it. I had to mix it with cracked/dried corn before they would even try it. Still they left most of the Purina pellets behind.

I have used this product for years. I’m a deer Hunter that believes in giving back. When season is over, I put out a bag to provide the herd the protein needed to survive the winter. It helps in antler and fawn growth in the spring and summer.You have to apply the product on vegetation. When product does get wet, they eat it off of plant.
