Took a gamble this would work and was much cheaper than Carter band saw products. Does not fit without modifications to my old 28-190. I drilled and tapped an M6 hole in the existing attachment guide and got it placed pretty good. Photos contain original delta guide side by side

I have an older 16” band saw and my blade guides were done they have new replacements for $225+ . ok then I saw these for 1/10 the price. Of course I had to modify them to fit my saw. but it was an easy fix since these were about 80% done for me. So far I have been cutting wood, and changed my blade and cut metal. These guides work good for me. And at the price it was worth trying them out. Thanks

Whenever you replace an original guide, you should be upgrading. While this is a roller guide, my original guide block system was built much better. The bearings that come with this have a rubber grommet. There aren’t any instructions, although you should be able to figure it out. Unfortunately you will have to spend 2 to 4 times the price of this item to get a good roller guide system.

Quality materials, the attachment to the shaft did not connect out the box. So I drilled and tapped the bottom of the shaft and bolted it on from the bottom. Very secure now and adjusted.

I’m not sure if the product designer was taking this into account but the guide fits the Delta/Rockwell Model 28-100 10” Bandsaw. I have yet to find a specific guider upgrade for the 28-100. The original guide was poorly designed with guide blocks and a thrust bearing perpendicular to the blade. This product perfect fits the 28-100 guide support shaft. It came with extra hardware to use wide blades and to mount it to my machine. My first few test cuts are a tremendous improvement over the original guide. Super excited to find this upgrade.

I was looking for replacement guide block holders and saw ball bearing upgrade kits for around $ 180.00 . the reviews for them were ok but I looked around A little more And found these for around $ 35.00 .the photos just show A Front view. I wasn't sure if the thrust bearing had an enlongated slot for adjustment . it turns out it does . These are well made and such a great price. my neighbor saw these on my old saw I am refurbishing and is ordering a pair for his saw. I highly recommend these guides and will buy these again to upgrade other saws. my old saw even cuts metal like butter. I definitely will never use guide blocks again.

It just isn't a well thought out product. It is sloppy in its adjustments and alignment. I'm still fiddling with it, trying to make it work, but I doubt I'll be able to overcome the inherent design laziness that birthed this mess.

Works fantastic. Great upgrade from the block style. Cuts are straight now on my ridgid 14 inch bandsaw.
