This adapter is handy for letting me use my 20v batteries on 12v tools, saving me from carrying around a million different chargers. It’s a bit bulky, though, and doesn’t sit as flush as I’d like. But hey, if it works, it works—even if it feels like it’s wearing platform shoes.

Works as intended. Used it to fit a 20v battery to a 12v 1/2 stubby impact. It didn't really torque as intended but pretty sure it was something wrong with the tool. Threw a 12v battery on it as intended and it ran the same; but the adapter works and is very compact and will come in handy when you wanna buy those cheaper dewalts.

I have this tiny 12v battery that I could go nothing with. This adapter allows me to use the 12v with a 20v tool or on a 20v charger.

I wasn't able to get it to supply enough power to give enough performance to my 12v tools to make it useful. From what I can tell, it must have some kind of converter in it that switches to 12v, but doesn't have enough amperage to be very helpful. Also, if you leave the adapter connected to the tool for long periods of time, it will drain the 18v battery without any use. Therefore, for those reasons, I don't really feel that this is a good solution for my needs.

Works great when you squeeze the trigger but as soon as you go to actually use it squeeze the trigger and it stops working
