Great product but absolutely do not use the bolts they don't match, just use what you pull off bike. I stripped one and I absolutely can't get it out. Now I have to buy a special tool to get it out luckily it was just one. I tried a few and struggled they all do not fit.

Harley 2023 Softail Standard. The OEM kit is 600.00 and for all practical purposes this kit is identical. The only difference is that the original parts (mid-controls) may be steel and these are aluminum. Everything you need is included including a tube it lub for the moving brake and shifter parts. This is a first class parts product with even the packaging / box has foam fitted inserts for the parts and hardware in sealed bags. The instructions are an identical copy of the OEM instruction found on the HD site. There are several YouTube videos that are very helpful. Experience has taught that a small torch on the original bolts that are threadlocked helps to ger the bolts removed without stripping the bolt head. A reward job and a big money saver with his kit.

Excellent workmanship! Easy to understand, detailed instructions for removal of the mid controls and installation of the new forward controls. All parts well made with no machine marks and perfect finish. Would like to see a tighter tolerance between brake and shifter bushings. A little loose, but not bad.Certainly worth the money. I was impressed.

To start, invest in torx bits. I got a decent set on Amazon for 23$. Follow the preassemble instructions, it helps. If you're not feeling a nice bite on the torx bolts, give them a couple taps with the hammer to ensure a nice seat. Take your time. For the most part, everything was butter and stupid simple. The only thing I did not like was the Allen screws that came with (for the foot peg brackets). One rounded and ended up being a nightmare. Just reuse the original torx bolts after cleaning them up. The look just like factory installed. Excellent quality (except for the Allen screws). Fit perfect!Stats: I'm 5'5" and wear motorcycle boots; I feel like it's an almost perfect reach. Went for a ride after installing and cleanup and definitely found it more comfortable than mids. 2022 HD Street Bob 114 FXBBS (yes, these fit perfectly). Might look into a custom toe shift knob as I feel like I'm only catching it with the tip of the boot sole. Braking is much more responsive, with less travel/pressure/reach.The set came with absolutely everything, even grease. Only thing you'll need is torx sex in addition to the usual, average tool set.

I’m blown away by how awesome these are. On 2021 lowrider S the brake pedal is angled wrong, you can barely use the back brake, you have to pull heal off peg then push down with toes, my buddies 2023 lowrider has same problem. These controls fix that problem big time with the angle purge pedal up slightly higher where it should be, plus it’s larger.20 year rider and mechanic here. The instructions are by far the best I’ve ever seen too. Very happy with this purchase, will update review if I have any issues down the road.

These forward controls fit perfectly and came with step-by-step instructions that I was able to complete by myself in a couple of hours. It gave me the riding position that was looking for and the brake pedal extends out far enough that it isn't too difficult to use even with my air filter somewhat in the way.
