I recently replaced the screen on my iPhone 8 Plus, and while the installation wasn’t too difficult, there were some drawbacks. The screen works fine, and everything looks good visually, but unfortunately, the home button no longer allows for fingerprint recognition. This missing feature was really annoying, as I rely on Touch ID for convenience and security. The home button also doesn’t function as it should. The loss of this key feature makes the replacement less appealing. Given this issue, I wouldn’t buy this screen replacement again, as I’d prefer a more seamless experience with all features fully functional.

I set the phone up and the screen was black but it was on. I thought it wasn’t working but the screen came on.. it looks great I was a little scared at first when the screen was black… it took like a few hours to come complete on I was hearing Siri talk and the button shake..I would recommend

Easy to replace!!! brought multiple screens. Take your time, slow down. Once you replace it, the feeling of doing it yourself feels so great!

If an 80 year old grandma can replace her iPhone screen, then anyone can. This is the third time I needed to replace a screen. The first time on this phone was a nightmare because I had to separately install the touch button and it was extremely difficult. This comes already assembled. The only problem (but it is a problem with ALL the phones) is the extremely tiny screws. You really need patience and a slow temper to get them back into the proper places. :-) EVERYTHING (and then some) you need is supplied, right on down to extra screws! I hope never to have to replace another screen, but I DEFINELY would buy this product again. I highly recommend it.

Works perfectly!!! And come with tons of extra stuff. If you know iPhones you know your have to transfer old home button to so people who report that it doesn’t work. That is why! Highly recommend and would buy again

Well about the Screen Lock Up , My phone didn't do it be for the new screen ,but after the new screen was in stalled a day down the road it locked up. No touch anywhere would work. Did a hard shout down worked fine the next day same thing . I now have a New 16 iPhone, I needed to up great anyway. So good luck.Shipping was fast easy to install. Thank you.

Product arrived next day and included even more than I expected, awesome little kit that included everything you would need to change the screen. It included the camera and home button as well so those were a bonus! Only thing you will need is a heating pad to melt the screens adhesive.
