The power supply works as a perfect replacement for my hikvision nvr power supply, with one small issue: the power supply is about 3/16ths of an inch thicker than the part it is replacing (although they have the exact same part numbers and are from the same manufacturer) which prevents me from reattaching and closing the nvr’s cover 100%. But, that being said, the power supply itself works and having the cover to the nvr not 100% fastened isn’t a deal breaker for me. For a power supply that’s half the price of every other one I can find, I can’t complain.

Big disappointment when the power supply failed on my LaView DVR. I didn't think I'd ever be able to get it fixed, being several years old. Did some research and found this power supply. Security system is back up and running again.

Took a while because it came from China but it was the same as the one I had to replace. Can't beat the price vs a replacement Security System. Most likely these cameras are old enough that they wouldn't be compatible with any new systems. Dropped this in a Samsung (rebranded Hanwha) security DVR. The DVR reported a power issue, via multi-meter it was within normal range, 52v at the 2pin connector & 11.9v at the 6pin, but the power supply specs are 52v and 12v. That .1v makes a difference on this DVR device causing it to not function. A couple of screws and a zip tie later and the security system is back in action hopefully for another 9 years or more of service.

Just works, at a good price, and dropped right into my Swann DVR. Disassembled the old, identical, failed (switching) supply and discovered that the largest electrolytic cap in the supply (200 microfarad, 450 volt) had leaked out its electrolyte from the bottom after seven years of continuous operation at full load, inside a warm (but ventilated) cabinet. This cap failure was not visible from the topside at all. Inside the supply is pretty well built. If you have one that HAS failed, consider checking this cap and changing it out if its bad before ordering a new supply.
