Adjust the adapter distance
- Release the knob underneath the magnetic ring.
- The magnetic ring is attached to the phone's MagSafe, and the main camera is aimed at the center of the round hole.
- Adjust the distance from your iPhone's MagSafe ring to the main camera.
- Then lock the knob in a clockwise direction.
Quickly install the adapter on the telescope
- Attach the adapter to the eyepiece of the telescope.
- Determine whether the hole is centered on the eyepiece by adjusting the length remaining of the three locking knobs.
Quickly attach your iPhone to the adapter
- Attach your iPhone to the magnetic ring of the adapter.
- Turn on your phone's shooting mode.
- Turn the phone left and right to point the main camera at the telescope eyepiece.
- (It's best to adjust the shooting mode to portrait mode)
Adjust the height of your phone
Rotate the magnetic ring height adjustment knob left and right to fine-tune the distance between the phone lens and the round hole of the adapter.

Didn't fit my Android case so had to send back. If they fit your case, they will work fine. Good quality. If using a case, you will need to buy some small metal stick ons for back of case so magnet will attach.

Both better and worse than other adapters. It’s much more time consuming to set up with the independent centering screws, but the thing I find that most adapters have a problem with is once you position it and you tighten the screws it moves the phone out of position. Here’s where the magnet makes it much more convenient. I can never get it perfectly centered, but usually the image is well within the Middle of the phone so that’s not an issue. Once you go through the times, consuming parts to set it up for a particular device it’s really easy to take your phone on and off and quickly sent it because of the magnet the design is good and it aligns the lens with even a case on without light leaks so it has appropriate adjustments and the unit has very good quality. So overall, I’m giving us a good score but know that the initial set up is going to take a while.
