This kit is an exceptional value. All parts are genuine Ford and well worth the price even if you don’t need the axle C-clips and Friction modifier. The bushings in the kit are in Ford part bags and are marked (made in USA). You can purchase one bushing separately and cheaper as To install the bushings in a Ford 8.8 axle housing, you will need a bushing removal and install tool such as the Maximum Motorsports MMT-1. Please abandon any hopes of “banging” or air-chiseling out the old bushings, especially with the axle installed in the car. It will never work and even if you got one out, you still need the tool to install new bushings. The MMT-1 tool will set the bushing the proper depth in the mounting lug. Don’t try to out-smart the tool.
