Just saying a 2×4 from home depot would mean it is wood.... And viking axes also had wood handles lol... It's not like there going to bring back some god wood from a far away planet and forge a godly axe lol

Mine came very sharp. Nicely balanced. Mine is a wall hanger, I won't be throwing it. It would work very well as a war tool for home defense.

Not sure I’d ever use it to chop wood but overall great craftsmanship solid product

The blade seems to be made very well but the handle is a 2x4 from Home Depot.
