I mounted mine on the back of the molle in my Jeep using velcro. The axe is sturdy and sharp.

I bought this because another company was selling something very very similar for twice the price but this had all of the same options plus some like the cover for the pry bar on the bottom- which is somewhat sharp. Also came very sharp.

This thing is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Ive used it in commercial demolition, camping, and bushwacking. The hatchet cuts branches and sticks with ease. Not much weight for splitting but it will get the job done. Its a tough little tool ive hit rocks and ice with it all day long before and the edge stays good and sharp. Never chipped or dented. Only downside is the handle is very uncomfortable after chopping for awhile. You'd wanna wrap it in grip tape.

bought it for a home defence option. sits beside the couch. looks great. for sure will be affective if necessary. didnt buy it for an every day ax. when you look at the similar products and their costs....G this is a good deal. I would think it is to heavy as a throwing ax. The hole in the actual ax is to small to put your fingers in. I thought it would be a good carrying option but it is not.

Revised review:Most of you judge by how sharp the blade is. I will tell you why this is wrong.. or at least not the only factor by what a good hatchet is measured.First and foremost. It is made of stainless steel which is not ideal and comparitively weak to most hatchets and this "tomahawk" is not well balanced for throwing. It is only sold as a tomahawk because this hatchet does not have a head made for splitting wood due to its very skinny design. The handle is made of plastic which does not feel good for those like me who have a heavy swing force. However! It does have SOME pros. If used prudently it can be useful for small tasks and look good while doing them, with a tactical design for those who like that sort of thing. I can't imagine how useful the prybar would be for say, emergency rescue situations but it works for nails and such. So the gist is. It's not a great tomahawk and mediocre hatchet at best. Hack safely everybody.

What a perfect size. The weight of it is outstanding. The edge is sharp and has retained its sharpness well. Overall the quality of this item is phenomenal.

This hatchet fells like its built well and with good metal. The edge on the blade is razor shart so be carefull taking it out of the sheath. A competitors hatchet sells for 225.00. So you can getthe quality without the price. Prompt shipping.
