This mug is beautiful and the filter basket is nice but the lid design was not thought out throughly. This cap-like design collects steam from your tea and streams down rapidly onto your table or counter top. This mug ruined an expensive Mid-century modern table of mine. I placed my hot mug down on top of a coaster and walked away while the tea steeped. When I came back into the room 5 minutes later, I found a huge puddle of water underneath the mug and coaster. The steam from the hot tea was funneled out of the cup and leaked down the sides of the lid and on to my walnut table! Super hot water sitting on my table for 5 minutes ruined the finish! We threw the lids away after verifying multiple times that the metal lids are defective. I ended up ordering ceramic lids with proper design to use instead.

This is such a great item I bought one to gift. It can be thrown in the dishwasher all pieces and that is why I like it. It’s the right size for a small cup of tea.

Gorgeous and durable. Easy to clean and use. Does keep the liquid very hot for quite some time.NOTE: the metal lid and ceramic exterior are extremely hot for quite some time after filling with hot liquids.Comes in matte or gloss finish, selection of colors and at least two sizes. We own several and I prefer the 18 oz, this is the smaller size which can be a bit trickier with the infuser (removal and/or filling).
