This comes pressurized and capped. Time will tell if it holds up as good as the OEM.

I like that it’s in excellent condition. I haven’t pulled my dash yet to install it. But it should be all good. Going in my 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 24 valve.

Finally got this replaced, it fit like it was supposed to. Not an easy job, but when the system is charged I'm sure it will work great. I will update after some time.

I was needing to fix my heater core anyway and found that it is always advised that... if you spent all that time digging into the dashboard of a Jeep ZJ to pull out the AC unit, you should change the Evap as well. Unlike the heater core, the evap core look very much like the one installed. My only gripe is that it lacks the rubber sleeves on the tubes like the original... that was corrected by slipping off the originals and sliding on to the new core. If you have never done your own core install, WARNING!... that thing is capped under pressure! It must be to keep it clean and protect from damage when fitting. I took off the metal clamp and POP it hit my finger... Ouch! It fit just fine in the unit and I was able to sort of match the original foam configuration for the core, however, the foam in and around it for the AC unit interior was crap and so I hope this will not cause problems for the core... debris collecting around it over time. It looked like it will work fine... hope to know soon when I charge up the system.
