Your cart is empty.The Fowler 52-224-103-0 digit micrometer set has a 0" to 3" measuring range and a flat anvil/spindle pair with a 0.256" diameter measuring faces for general purpose measuring. Microfine graduations on the satin chrome finish provide clear readings, and the positive locking nut on the spindle locks measurements in place when required. A zero adjustment on the sleeve ensures accurate measurements. The anvil/spindle pair have hardened, precision-ground, and micro-lapped measuring faces with 0.00003" flatness and 0.00005" parallelism on 0" to 1" micrometers to provide accurate measurements. This product has a 1-year warranty offered by Fowler High Precision. Needed to adjust about .0005 right out of the box. The thimbles also have some sticky spots that seem to be wearing in as I use them. After that they're holding accuracy pretty well. Good set of mics for the money.

Works great and economical. I use these mainly for shaft diameters and after some practice, I am good to a couple of tenths. They maintain their calibration well, but I make it a habit to check them when I use them (I don't use them every day). The numerical readout really makes these much easier to use.

What a great set of micrometers! Would buy them again! They work great. Checked them on many blocks and they are dead on every time!

While these are not starrett quality they are good they stay calibrated and was one of the only value priced sets that included standards

These mics are awesome.I'm a student and bought these as my first set. I get the same measurements as my teacher's mituoyos. They're plenty accurate.The digit readout is handy for quick checks as you're zeroing in on your specs.The ratchet doesn't work very well. I was pretty sure going into this purchase that it wouldn't be good, and I was right.
