This is great for storing my baits. Very spacious and I really like the fact that they are water tight. The seals are good quality. I keep these on my bass boat and the containers fit easily in my storage bins.

I really like the product. I don’t think it’s worth taking a star away considering the price, but I bought this tackle box to keep an assortment of electrical connectors in at work. I wanted the container to be waterproof so the connectors would have protection in the field. If I let it sit for a day or 2 without opening the seal would stick to the stationary side of the box and would have to be re-seated into the groove. I imagine if I was using this for tackle and fished once a week this wouldn’t be too bad, but I use this everyday to every other day and it continues to fall out. I removed it and added a line of silicon inside the seal track and reseated it. No problems since then. Excellent product especially for the price. Plenty of space very tough feeling and the clips are easy to manage but exert a lot of force on keeping the box closed. You think dropping your tackle is bad. Try dropping around 600 electrical connectors you have to pick up.

I just recently upgraded most of my Plano tackle boxes to these waterproof versions. All I can say is you tip your kayak over one time and you quickly realize the more waterproof stuff you have the better off you are. (Don't ask me how I know). This is probably true for anytime your near the water and if your fishing, this applies. I'm very happy with the quality. Yes it's a slight more inconvenient to open the box with the three latches but the assurance is worth it. I was able to stuff a ton of crank baits of all sizes in the deep model which is good because I was also trying to down size the number of boxes I carry in the kayak. These get my recommendationDisclaimer: I paid full price! Wish I got a discount or free items from Amazon.

It took a while before the lid fit right without having to bend the lid around to get it to seat properly. Basically, it got a little bit warped in shipping but after a little while it now functions great and is a nice case for keeping my boat fasteners and hardware dry and organized. The unit is quite deep and holds a ton of stuff. It's hard to tell but these are about 30% deeper than the typical plano tackle box trays, so don't expect to be able to swap your non-waterproof trays with these. There's a different model that is swap-able.

If you've ever dropped your fishing gear box with it popping open upon impact, you'll appreciate this Plano box. Not only is it waterproof, the three clasps will keep your lures - and everything else within it - from becoming a jumbled heap on the ground if you drop it. Initially, I purchased one of these to test it out. I now own several of these. All fishing gear (that will fit inside it's ample space) is now stowed within these cases and I have others that are for other purposes - one for my GoPro/Sony/Contour action cameras (cameras and all necessary accessories fit NICELY), one for my quadcopter / drone (accessories, tools, etc), one is a firearm cleaning kit (just about everything required to properly care for your guns), while others are for miscellaneous organization. The cost above what the standard Plano cases are is money well spent. The worry of moisture in case (as long as you put your gear into the case dry) is now gone, it's very convenient to just grab one of these cases - for whatever the purpose is - and go without having to be concerned whether you have everything, and, being that they are more than durable, your mind is at ease knowing that your gear is safe.
