This is my second frameo frame. It's very easy for my whole family to share the awesome photos we took. The picture and color quality of the frame looks clear. Nice gadget to place in the house to show the memories of the family.

This is a simple well-made Digital frame. It displays a sharp, high-quality picture using the 1200 x 800-pixel IPS screen. And the colors are accurate, clear and bright. It can be mounted to a wall but my favorite place for this sized frame is on a countertop, end table or shelf. The frame is Wi-Fi capable, meaning it connects to the internet and can receive data in this case digital images/videos sent from other phones. Kind of like a text message. It uses a specific connection service through a phone App called "Frameo" which you download to your phone.Once loaded on your phone Frameo is given permission by you, to look at your photo library. Through the Frameo App you select pictures you want to display. These are then sent to the frame. For this frame an impressive 100 pictures can be selected and sent at one time. You can also allow other people to access and place images on your frame. This is a simple process that begins with the other person, downloading the same Frameo app to their phone. During their set -up process they will be asked to specify the frame they want to use - in this case yours. To access your frame, you have to send them a unique code number that was generated during your set up. This is kind of like a phone number going to just your frame. Once they enter the number, the Frameo network will identify it as your frame. They can then pick images from there photo library and have them sent to your frame.Frame control is through a touch screen interface. It's very basic and intuitive once you start using it. There are a lot of features for loading and deleting pictures, creating slide shows, entering the date and time and even entering headers for each picture - which is very useful. If you have a lot of pictures like me, that reside on your computer there is also a slot for a Micro SD card on the back of the frame. The Frame has storage capacity of 32GB, but you can use a larger capacity card as long as you don't exceed 32GB. You can use your computer to load your images on the Micro SD card and then plug it into the frame for a simple download. There is also a USB-C input on the frame for direct computer transfer, but I couldn't get it to work on my Dell XPS 15 with Windows 11.I've set up and used a lot of Digital Picture frames. This is a simple, low-cost frame that has very good picture quality. The app is easy to load, use and provides fast transfer of up to 100 images at a time. It also provides a reliable connection to other friends and contacts that want to add content to your frame. The frame controls are simple to learn and the Frameo app provides most of the controls you will need. The only glaring exception is the sorting ability, which is limited to date received, date taken and shuffle. With this selection It's very difficult to get a slide show to play in a set order. For example, trying to get images from a one-day wedding to play from beginning to end. Sorting by name would have been better. For me Shuffle is my default pick.If you're looking for an inexpensive digital picture frame that has a good feature set and a high-quality image this is a good one to consider. The Frameo app is very reliable.

I have an older model Frameo electronic picture frame that I really like, so when I saw this newer version I wanted to see what they had done to improve it. Well, they have added several new features, useful ones at that. With the old Frameo you could import pictures using a micro-USB port; with this newer model you connect with a USB C port – much more convenient for most people. You can also store, transfer, backup files using a micro SD card. The documentation says that it will allow you to use up to a 32GB card, but I use a 128GB card with no problem. The older Frameo required a card formatted to the NTSF format while this newer one requires a card formatted to the ex-Fat format (or is it the other way around?). In any case, it’s easy to find out. Stick the card in and if it works you have the right format. I think my only complaint is that the SD Card slot is so near the power plug into the unit that I had to shut the Frameo off and pull out the plug in order to get my fingers around the ejected card, but that is the same with the older frame as well. There are all sorts of options you can play with here. I have the picture names and dates displayed, though you don’t have to do that. If you have a video you can easily change the volume with a simple touch and drag on the screen. This Frameo provides you with 32GB of internal storage (the older version had 16GB). You can have the Frameo automatically backup your files to an external backup or to your SD Card. If you have an external USB drive you can plug it in and draw your pictures from it (I suspect that you could backup to that as well, but I haven’t tried it). You can also purchase Frameo+ which allows you to do even more backup options +, but you’re not required to have that subscription (hurrah for them!) I have the pictures change every five seconds (or just after a video is finished), but you can set that to any time you wish. With a simple swipe you can advance the pictures or go back to see a previous one. The temperature and time can also be displayed (which I do, making this into a clock and more as well). The display is very clear. I’m not sure if it seems more clear than the older version or that impression is just because this is “new and exciting.” Both are 1280 x 800 (the older, 760p while the newer says 1080p). The picture brightness is easily adjusted. I really like that you can set the Frameo to turn off and on at set times, so it’s not running all night (in my case). It’s very easy to put pictures on the Frameo from your phone, or you can invite friends to send their photos and videos on to automatically be included in the Frameo display (through a WiFi connection at your home). All they need is the invitation you send them through the free Frameo app (Android or iOS) and the app themselves (and of course, they need to send them to you!). You can delete pictures you don’t wish to display, adjust the order in which they are displayed, and more. This newer version supports JPG/JPEG, PNG/HEIC/HEIFWEBP/BMP with video support (MP4 / : M4A/FLV/MOV) (an improvement on the older version). I’m please to see how they’ve kept developing the product! My Frameo came with two stands, though you can only attach one of them at a time (They’re screw-in stick stands). You can also mount it on a wall if you wish. This stand will allow you to set up the Frameo in portrait or landscape view. The Frameo will try to display the picture in such a way that you don’t cut off important parts of the picture, but if you want the picture just as you took it, it will present it that way as well (via a simple touchscreen command).Yup, this is a new and improved version of the older Frameo, but it’s really just taking something very good and making it even better. The price seems well-worth it. Thanks to the developers!
