I bought this Free Motion Quilting Template not knowing much about free motion quilting. As always, the video posted made it look simple.After watching many tutorials and videos on how to quilt using these templates, I found out that my sewing machine does not have the proper foot that’s required to handle this quarter-inch template. This is totally my fault because I should’ve researched free motion quilting prior to purchasing the template.I do, however, wish they sent instructions with this template. Nothing in detail but just a list of items that I need to purchase in order to use the template. It shows in the photos that there’s a blue piece of paper included (titled template usage instructions), but my package did not include those instructions.Although I still have a lot of research to do, it looks like I need to purchase a supreme slider and gloves in addition to the proper sewing foot for my sewing machine. The supreme slider goes under your quilt so that you can move the fabric around more freely.Overall, I do wish that some instructions were sent by the seller as pictured in the product description. I believe that any information on a product purchase is helpful to the consumer.
