Adoro questi filtri variabili, non riesco a farne a meno nelle giornate super soleggiate. Davvero consigliato per la DJI Osmo Pocket 3

This is fine as an ND filter option if you ALWAYS attach it and remove it before power off as the size of the metal frame does not allow the filter to stow safely in the power-off position without scrapping the inside of the gimbal. Then it will not come back out without pushing the filter off by sliding it sideways out of the stowed lens. This could scratch the gimbal or lens. It's very close and I could hear and see the scratching sound as the lens with filter attached pushed into the closed position. I suspect this could damage the gimbal as weil.

non lo ricomprerei .Quando il filtro è inserito la testina della Osmo Poket non si richiude più in modo normale .... Penso che possa essere un danno per il gimball

Unfortunately I bought the ND32PL but it's so difficult to turn. I am afraid it will break the gimbal. And it's a massive issue if you film for horizontal and vertical (to get full 4K) I used to have a different brand for Pocket 1 and it was so smooth which you can twist using your finger. You definitely need two hands to twist this, and still makes me feel I will damage the gimbal. Will be buying something else, don't want to risk it. If you only film horizontal it's fine.

Pros: it fits for Pocket 3Magnets are holding good enough and it's easy to take it offGood carry case with magnetized padding, designed to hold 2 filters. There is visible loss of details (tested with ND16) if to film with filter in day time but cloudy with no sun. The footage image is still usable, but I can tell that there is less 4k details.Good idea to sell the single filter to reduce the price. I don't need 14 filters kit. Nobody does, unless for the purpose of review only.Cons:There is no visible loss of details in day time in sunlight if you film like 2 feet away from object. There is visible lose of details if you film father than that.Slim and slippery. It slipped off my fingers at first attempt to take it from case and dropped on the floor. How hard to make rough surface on sides to have a grip? Its impossible to handle filter without leaving smudges on the glass because there is no proper grip.I was worried about color cast when I saw purple tint of filter on this product page. And it turned out that it shifts colors to cold (blue). It leave color-cast. While testing ND16 indoor under LED light I can tell that whites becomes purple-ish and yellows fade out. If you are not picky you won't probably pay attention. Details in video look Ok in a bright light but again if your object is not too far from camera. The adjusting ring has enough resistance to send gimbal in protection mode during polarization adjustment. The Grabbing hairlines are designed, as you see on the picture, which is very stupid, because ones you turn adjusting wheel hairlines on top disappear and you can't turn especially with dry skin it since there is no friction. There is no cross mark, tested it in day bright light. I got ND16 which is fine for changing light conditions, but ND32 works better in the sun but still with the same color-cast and some loss of details. And I film in 4k Polarization is weird though on Freewell. If I'm on the front of car the filter cut off the reflection it shape of small spot which is moves across windshield during turning CPL adjusting wheel. It's the fame angle of reflection. The filter should clear the whole window from reflection not just one spot. As for Sky, it's pain in the back to adjust polarization with this filter to see more details of clouds. I liked Skyreat filters better in that case. With Auto exposure and ND16 the shutter speed becomes 1/120 and ISO becomes 100 and with ND32 shutter speed becomes1/50 and ISO 250 vs shutter speed 1/2500 and ISO 50 without any filter (in same Auto Exposure mode and light conditions).ND16 for cloudy days and the dusk time and ND32 for sunny days is all I need.I had Skyreat, returned because of too stiff CPL adjusting ring and more lose of details than Freewell. I guess I'm gonna keep Freewell ND16 and ND32 in this case designed for 2.

I was eyeing the Black Mist filter sold by DJI since I admire the look the filter creates to remove the "digital edge" of the camera. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 already films in such great quality, but personally I do like a little less contrast to my videos and having the filter would remove time in post when I'm editing. I've had this Freewell Snow Mist filter for about a week now and it's probably just as good or maybe better than the original Black Mist filter sold by DJI, but it's great that this costs about half the price and does the same job - I don't have a proper say just because I haven't tried the DJI version, but I did some research from videographers on YouTube and other reviews.I also think I got lucky with this filter? There's similar Black Mist filters out there on the market for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and the first few times when turning off my camera, the lens wouldn't close all the way and just stick out since the device knows I have a lens filter attached and it wouldn't fit in its collapsed form. Sometimes I remember to remove the filter, but recently I think I got lucky that eventually the filter did fit with the camera off and compacted, which is a nice plus! I can't guarantee this will happen for everyone, but glad this was the case for me!
