I was doing a lot of mortise joints in some old oak and the router bits were getting dull after only a few hours. I ordered this bit and it finished the job and still has good edges on it. Freud bits aren't the cheapest, but they are well worth the price.

The shaft broke after 3 feet of use. This was my first Freud bit. I'll never buy this brand again. I recommend you do not buy Freud.
