This cap does not fit the ms290 Stijl, it fell into the tank. Have no idea what saw this cap fits could fit. Wasted my money.

The larger cap works for the oil cover. The smaller cap does not fit either the oil or gas cover. That said, it was a fair price and I only needed one so this got me what I needed. thank you

Had to get these in a hurry, given a recent storm through our area. The OEM part broke when trying to fuel up our chainsaw and needed to get it back up and running quickly.Absolutely no issues with these and they fit as expected. I'd actually say the molded plastic is a bit thicker than the original parts that came with the chainsaw. Felt stronger than what it was replacing.Given the 'heft' of the fuel cap, I went ahead and replaced the chain oil cap as well. It was teetering on the edge of breaking as well, so went ahead and beat it to the punch on replacement.No leaks at all and nothing to install. The caps line right up with the guides for each tank and give a satisfying lock when working to close.Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend!

So we order the caps think both caps with work for the chainsaw but only one fitted so now we have one small cap extra 🙄
