These will do the job sharpening the chain .. BUT .. make sure you have them at the exact angle needed or they will snap into.

Broke in half every time. Can't sharpen a 20 inch chain with just one. First thing they do is break in half. Crap.

Works great to sharpen chain. Nineteen cents per 16 inch 66 drive links, that cheap enough.

it takes two to do a long chain, but they do a great job.

It seemed to work but does not last long several broke right away at the end. Make sure your wearing safety glasses. In the end it did the job. Make sure you select the right size for your saw. Not really designed for Chain saws.

When they arrived several were broken. When in use if you press slightly strong they will break. These are one use as by the time you finish you will notice the diameter is slightly less. They tend to get the tooth very hot if you grind more than a few seconds so keep the speed low & do several touches rather than one. They are at a good price, and will get your chain extremely sharp, so at one per sharpening I feel is work the cost. My saw throws off huge chips after using these. I now use these to touch up the chain after every use. It's making a huge difference in the speed of cutting logs & because it's not working as hard and it's using less gas per cut so I get much more done per tank of gas. I also bought some diamond bits from another company and was less pleased with them as the bit gets hot instead of the chain teeth & then the diamond coating peels off. I would buy these stone bits again.

I broke a tap inside a hole on my planer. First I tried various 'diamond burr' sets with very slow progress and quickly worn out burrs. Then I switched to these and they made quick work of the broken tap. Since I was using them end on in the hole I especially liked that the metal shaft only went about a third of the way into the stone so wear on the tip just exposed new material. I used about 10 bits for ~1/4" of broken tap.
