Dado que cada vez es mas díficil encontrar repuestos, pensé que ésta era una buena solución. Y al llegar me di cuenta que solo traé una etiqueta que dice EMPI, pero fabricada en China, a ver que tal resulta. Está funcionando bien, falta sacarlo a tramos largos a ver si no se calienta y se detiene el motor.

Replaced old leaky pump made for a generator with this alternator model. A little tough to tighten the rear nut but all went well. Works great and no more leaks!

I got this for my 1970 Beetle and quickly noticed that the carburetor needed adjusting. Once I finally got the new carburetor dialed in the best I could, I also noticed that when the car sat like going in to pay for gas or a can of pop or something, once I got back out, it was hard to start and sounded like it was flooded. After doing some research, I concluded that the newer pumps like these put out way more fuel pressure than the 2.5 lb needed. You'll need to get a regulator like a Holley 12-804. Once you do that you'll be fine.

Don't hold it against the product that it says EMPI, it is getting the job done. Like it much better than the electric pump I added as this one makes no noise when running.
