When you need replace your fuel pump?
- Vehicle makes high pitched sound when the engine is first engaged.
- Sudden trouble accelerating.

Please be attention:
- Always clean the cover and the outside and inside tank, replace the old strainer and fuel pipe.
- Replace the old fuel with clean standard fuel which you can get from the gas station.
- Vehicle should be filed with full tank fuel before parking for a certain long time.
- Replace the filter on a regular basis.

When I first bought this pickup it needed repairs, one of them was a fuel pump, I bought one from O'Reillys, it worked but the pickup had to be cranked for awhile, especially if it had set idle for anytime, it got to be a problem so I bought this unit, man what a difference, now that old 350 starts right up every time like it should and runs great. Installation was straightforward, hardest part was raising the bed and that wasn't too bad.If you're having problems starting your engine or its sluggish and you're thinking about replacing the fuel pump, this one works well, keeps the system primed and is easy to start and runs smooth.

Took bolts out of drivers side and left the front and back bolt on passenger side to lift like you see. On passenger side they are almost out so you can lift. Pump sticks up out of tank and has to be pushed down to put on ring that holds it.
