This was part of my dog's steampunk costume, and I was well-pleased. It does adjust, but I had to put a tiny stitch in it to keep the size from slipping back to a looser fit. It is a bit front-heavy and feels like it wants to flop forward. Other than that it performed exactly as hoped. When my bestie brought her dog the next year, I bought him one, too, so I was that pleased with the first that I was willing to buy again.

The bow tie is well made, even though the gears are glued on, they’re glued well & lasted through my son dancing & breakdancing for his first school dance that had a Dress to Impress the Galaxy. He’s only 9 and the bow tie adjusts easily to fit his smaller neck and can go large enough to easily fit most average sized adults.Now that we have the bow tie and my son now loves Steampunk, I’ll sew the gears on so they last better (I use a copper coloured thread so it will look like wire constructing and powering the machine!)
