Main picture says "Solid" .. it is completely hollow and fragile. Second picture compares this item (Left) to another product that actually is solid brass (Right).

Specifically purchased these because it said the half moon nuts were solid and they are not....they are hollow. False advertising.

I like everything about these except the curved inserts since they are cast metal and hollow. I was planning to use these on some 1.5" thick Birch wood countertops but will have to be careful when tightening them down so I don't break those pot metal inserts.
