I have two sets of 32" panels from FXW. The products are great. Their customer service is even better. I love the set up and break down of this product. The spacing is small enough to keep our little dogs in minus one caveat, the width of this panel is wider than our RV steps so there is a space without coverage (about two rods worth, or approximately 4" x 4.5") on each side when the grid is centered over the steps. I don't really think this will be a problem, but will try it out on our next camp trip and update.Update: The grid worked perfectly. The dogs didn't even pay attention to the gaps. Very happy with the product.

There is an area directly under the pull out steps where the stair supports prevent installation of the cross bars for the step grid. I have a new puppy, and he is just the right size to slip behind the steps and crawl over the crossbars escaping the play pen and gaining access to the area under the travel trailer. I’ll probably be returning this item.😞 Also, the dimensions of the step grid panel is wider that the playpen panels so there isn’t a way to make an even side square or rectangular play area without a narrow panel to make up the space difference.

Easy to set up under the RV steps to keep our pups from sneaking under. Attached easy to fence.

We actually used this along the side of the stairs because we have a staircase that folds up into the doorway, not the ones you pull out and stretch to the ground where you can remove some of the rails, while leaving others in so your pet can't climb through the stairs to escape. The bars are snapped into place in plastic joints but if you bump it, or it gets really cold, they will easily pop out. While the bottom is a set width, the top is not. It will be flexible. It needs a way to secure it at the top to prevent this. I used rope to tie the top posts together.
