Unfortunately, it did not fit my son's fireplace, but gave it to his brother and it did fit his fireplace. He is pleased with it. While he has a gas fireplace, he says the tray makes changing EmberGlow easier.

This appears to be a five-star product if the manufacturer had provided the three parts in equal widths. (see the enclosed photo). Part A is the left-side part and its 1/4" wider that the center part C and the right-side part B. There is no possible way to correct this issue. To try to use the screws to close the gap buckles part C.Update: I've found a way to correct the issue satisfactorily. I've filled the 1/4" space with washers which now allows tightening the screws and a useable.
