From my Review of the Titanium Model:"This item is compact, lightweight, and performs very well (so long as you manage your expectations). Assembly/Disassembly is easy, especially after you have practiced it 2-3 times. Furthermore, this takes up basically no space in your camping/hiking kit.Maintaining a fire is simple so long as you have some dry tinder or other fire-starting material to begin with; once you have a good flame going, just keep feeding it moderately dry twigs, wood-shavings, kindling, etc. through the open slot and you'll have an impressive amount of heat in your stove. From there, you can quickly boil water or cook by placing your pot/pan on top of the stove. This is where you need to be aware of the limitations; it is not a very large cooking surface, so-to-speak, so you'll have the best results by using compact cookware (such as you would find in a camping-specific individual mess kit). For my purposes (hunting/camping in the Pacific Northwest), this stove has proven itself to be an exceptional part of my kit."The stainless steel model is every bit as good, it just weighs more. For situations where weight doesn't really matter--such as drive-in camping or storing in a vehicle for an emergency situation--I recommend saving a little bit of money and buying this model instead of the titanium one.

This little stove has exceeded my expectations. I camp a lot and primitive camping is my preferred style, so I boil all of my cooking and drinking water as well as cook significantly sized meals for myself and my 2 youngest sons, so this stove has had dozens of fires in it, many of those fires burning for several hours at a time, and has held up extremely well. No modifications were needed to keep it assembled (which I’ve seen reviews on other stoves where this was a reoccurring complaint). Very well priced and very lightweight. Highly recommend!

I'll begin by saying I haven't used this yet but I've used many similar stoves. I have the stainless version and it is very wll made. No real sharp edges to cut yourself so the finishing is excellent. It's easy to assemble unless you are an idiot. The price is half or less than half of many stoves that are almost exactly the same. How could it be improved? Drill some holes in the side so rods could be put in to hold a trangia burner or a cup for solid fuel. The grill looks like it will be a pain to fit on the top once the stove has been used and the inevitable warping happens. It's such a tight fit that it will be hard to avoid. Or you could dremel the slots in the grill. I have a nice screen grill that sits on the top and will be perfect for cooking but it does not lock on top. This stove is a huge bargain. Grab one before the price goes up.

This is a great little stove. I was hesitant given the fact that it is a cheap Chinese manufactured product, so I figured what the heck I will buy it and beat on it to see if it survives and survive it has. I’ve had 10+ fires with this with each fire being 2 to 6 hours with no issues and I anticipate no issues in the future. Absolutely nothing wrong with the design or manufacturing, no sharp edges and pretty easy to put together. Cools down quickly too, a tiny bit of water and 5 to 10 mins it is cool to the touch.Just understand that this is a stick stove, the fuel will burn quickly and with the holes in the base plate you won’t get much in the way of coals. The lack of coals and the small size means you have to adjust your approach a little, so make sure you keep feeding this thing. Personally I like a combination of sticks and wood that I have chopped down to 1” x 1” or smaller. Can you cook on this….I think so. I boiled water within 5 minutes so I would imagine you could cook using the grill plate, haven’t tried it though. Definitely would give this a solid burn before you cook on it.Get a bunch of material and your expectations in check for a tiny fire and you will love this thing. The fact that I rarely ever post reviews is testament to the fact that I absolutely recommend this product.

It's a stick burner stove. Assembles easy enough, works for quick trail meals and fits well in your pack.

Received on time and is as I expected, pretty sure it'll be fine. Don't be misled by the 'titanium construction' line, I never expected it to be but it does seem to be some grade of stainless. Pretty happy with it. Would buy again.
