I was looking for a cheap and simple capture card that would allow me to use my mirrorless camera for video calls and occasional streaming. This product works well for the price.The image quality is far superior to any webcam on the market. I don't know how it compares to a more expensive Elgato capture card, but unless you're on a fiber connection, I think you will experience a loss in image quality due to bitrate limitations before any hardware limitations of this device become a factor.The output is only 1080p, but my Sony A7IV overheats when I try to stream in 4K, so 1080p is plenty good enough for my needs. 1080p on a good quality mirrorless camera is going to look better than 4K on most webcams anyway.This capture card is very simple to use. For me, it was just plug-and-play.Overall, I would consider this to be a good-quality capture card for the price.
