--- Pros ---Solid build quality.3 different connections (Wired USB, Bluetooth, included 2.4 dongle)Customizable RGBs.Customizable buttons.Nice feeling joysticks.Toggleable triggers.Headphone jack.--- Cons ---No phone holder accessory offered (yet).Cannot store dongle in the controller.ABXY buttons are not the same as D-pad buttons.--- Thoughts ---Very nice controller out of box.Plastic but sturdy build. Has textured grips and triggers.Very comfortable to hold and use for long periods, may be slightly big and heavy for smaller hands. The joysticks are a joy to use. Very fluid and nice to move around. There is a default of 10 for deadspace on the GameSir Connect software; Lower it to 6 or 5 for less deadspace.Weirdly, the ABXY buttons have the a slightly sponge-like feel, but the D-pad has a nice mechanical keyboard click. Would prefer if both were clicky.Analog triggers feel great all the way through. Switching it to micro switch mode gives it a very nice instant click feel.Works right out of box for supported games on mobile, consoles, and PC. For non natively supported games on mobile, the GameSir App helps with mapping.Sadly it did not come with a phone holder, nor can I find one in stock officially, but I found a thingiverse model that I printed to work with the famed Modular Mounting System (thingiverse item #5619802)Really wish it could store the wireless dongle inside the controller when not in use. Might design something to hold the dongle to the controller in the future.Overall, a great controller for daily gaming.

I used to be a pretty high level player in Rocket League (I was competitive in tourneys vs teams up to 2000-2100 mmr and was pretty high on some speedrun leaderboards). The TMR joysticks are a huge upgrade compared to the Hall effect sticks in the t4k and also much better than the x360/x1/ds4/ds5 potentiometer sticks. The buttons are good as well, the overall latency of everything is very good. The software is a big improvement compared to the t4k.Visually it's pretty good looking, but that's a personal preference. My only issue with the controller is the lack of a cable guard that can be put in the phone holder slot, which the G7 pro will have. Hopefully they make one for this controller as well.If you're a high level player or aim to be one (in a game that heavily uses the joysticks) I'd highly recommend this

I’ve only had this controller for a short while but I really love it. I don’t think a lot of people talk about how great this controller is for fighting games. The D-pad is really accurate and makes it great for pulling off moves, especially when doing things like diagonal inputs for games like Tekken. The buttons also hardly have any travel time so inputing punches and kicks is almost instant. I used to use Hori controllers for these games but this is far better. Glad I picked it up.

The controller is very nice, and looks quite well. The sticks, and buttons are immaculate, and feel great. The trigger switches are well designed, and the programmability is awesome.Id like to note, I bought this to replace my old Scuf Prestiege, which was a long lasting controller, but boy did it have issues. I want to start off by saying,DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, BUY A SCUF IN 2025!There are limitless better options, and this is absolutely one, depending on your use. This controller is very responsive, I love the included 2.4Ghz USB chip. The sticks DO remove, and you can buy taller ones, although they dont come included. I dont know if removable thumbsticks is a more recent standard or not, but it didnt used to be.The color is okay, and RGB is nice, but I really have to comment on the translucent plastic. It has a sort of 2000 - 2015 cheap controller look, which is offputting, and makes it look cheaper than it is. I feel like a more thoughtful choice of plastic formula, and density would have been well worth it here, to allow the light to shine through, but not be see through. The controller also has this grippy texture molded or stamped into the plastic, which I personally am not a fan of.The last complaint is the start and menu buttons. Their placement is really obnoxious and out of the way, hard to get used to unconciously pressing. As you can see in the pictures, they orbit the xbox/ main button at the top, rather than being placed side by side on a typical xbox controller. Some more information, is the cover is not removable, or at least, not without a screwdriver, so if you wanted to change out the joystick bases, or even certain buttons, (was possible on my Scuf, not sure here), you have to take it apart, and likely void the warranty. All in all, good controller, just has some so-so quirks.

Absolutely love the TMR sticks, love the mechanical buttons and dpad, and love the trigger mechanism that lets you switch from analog to button triggers. The software has tons of options for customization, even lets you mess with stick response curves and axis sensitivity. It has a variety of connection modes, is compatible with a lot of devices, and works well with everything I have tried (PC, Switch, Android). If I had known how much I would like this, I would have bought the version that includes the charging dock. I'm still trying to get an answer out of Gamesir about how to buy a charging dock or the phone clip separately.

The cyclone 2, provided it stays functioning as it should is my perfect controller. Microswitch triggers, tmr sticks, wireless dongle mode avoiding unreliable bluetooth. It has it all! Even rgb lighting if you really want it (I'd suggest shutting it off if you are using wireless mode though as it will drain battery faster). Battery level on its own seems to last a solid amount of time. The back buttons, while a bit loud, are in a comfortable spot and since I personally don't care about face or d-pad buttons being mechanical it doesn't bother me any. For 50 USD it beats out every single controller I have tried. The only possible successor to it is the Razor Wolverine but I found that controller to be REALLY chunky and since it's 200 USD I can't really validate it over the Cyclone 2 even if you like thicker controllers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND however I have only had it for about 15 hours so I will update this review if that changes.Update: been 2 months and it's getting returned, it has a persistent drifting issue that returns even after calibration, naturally I had gotten rid of all the packaging for it so I doubt I'll get a full refund but I'm not keeping something with an issue either.
