So far so good. Tough to install but that's not the products fault. Once I figured out how to install it, my fireplace works like new

I have nothing negative to say about this product . It arrived on time , installed with no issues, fit like a glove and months later I haven't had any call backs on it so it seems to be functioning as it should. I do recommend this product.

I installed a new water heater in my house about 5-7 years ago. The previous water heater lasted some 15 years without issues until it rusted out. That being said, these thermopiles are not lasting as long as they use to.For being the only part that seems to be "a consumable", they are not readily available at the big box stores. It took about a day and a half before we noticed we had to hot water. Then the discovery, poking, prodding, research and shopping kicked in. I bought the readily available "thermocouple", which isn't the correct part.It was an easy install. The threaded collar wasn't even necessary. The thermopile is held in with a clip. Suggestion: watch a few videos online before starting the install. It made everything familiar and easy.I am only disappointed that these thermopiles, and any other thermopiles you find online have fork terminals installed. I had to cut them off and crimp some quick-disconnects (as part of my job, I have these at the office) to plug them into the controller. Oh, take photos to see which position is which. If you plug them in backwards, I believe the 750mV will be -750mW and your heater (or furnace) will never kick in.The other thing I'm disappointed with is, I paid extra to get this part ASAP (+$12) and I still had no hot water for a week. The part arrived today and it took about half an hour to install. I now have hot water! Woohoo!Again, order extra. If these go out inside 5 years, it's cheap to have some extra on hand, or wait a week for hot water. I'm going to order a few more and keep them in the water heater closet.

This fits perfect, into the existing screw in fixed bracket. I used existing pilot and supply line. The old part has number on side Q313A _ _ _ _, seeing after I pulled/removed it out of the pilot/thermocouple bracket.Thermocouple perfect!
