Worked perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Easy install and looks very clean. I used a level for a straight edge and ran a razor knife along it to cut the panels to length!

Product was easy to install, does make a little mess when cutting it. I used the shop vac after each cut just to keep it from getting out of hand. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install on a two car garage door. It does make it alot quieter and keeps it cooler as long as you keep it closed. If you open and close your door frequently or pull your car in after its been out in the hot sun for hours then of course it will get warm inside. I have a room that sits above my garage that was always a bit warmer than any other room, after installing the insulation we noticed a difference in the temperature in the garage, and the room above it. Works as advertised and worth the money in my opinion.

I bought two kits (16 panels) to cover my garage door. The entire job took me about 3 hours. My recommendation is to remove the two bolts from the hinge for the panel you're working. This allows the styrofoam panel to slide in and then adjust for proper fit. Reinstall the two bolts for the hinge and move to the next section. I worked from the panels at eye level downward. I wanted to get a good feel for the installation and figured that level was easiest to work. I'm still working on a plan for the window area. I want to sandwich the Styrofoam panel between the window frames for both a professional fit and finish.The overall look and function (heat/cool) is excellent! Highly recommend over buying a new insulated garage door.

Ok, 1st off it's more or less dense styrofoam with a white backing stuck to it. Now, with that being said, it's good stuff. There was some cutting to get it to fit inside the door rail (follow the instructions) but after that was easy to install and "bend" to put in place. The back side is slotted to allow it to be bent. It does help with the sound and put a bit of weight to my door.In my opinion, it was worth it. It did help with heat. I could feel the difference in before/after, but don't have a temp gun to check actual scientific results. Overall I'm satisfied with the product.

Seems to me the kit is over priced as its really cheap ball foam which is formed to panels then a vinyl is added to the back. Makes a heck of a mess when cutting to size. Have a vacuum ready and clean as you go otherwise the foam goes everywhere. Don't attempt on a windy day or you will likely have foam balls suck to the ceiling and walls. Otherwise it works well. My garage is still cold but that is highly likely due to the fact there is NO insulation in my roof over the garage. I also doubt the walls have sufficient insulation. Even so you can tell a difference. If I use a space heater I can get the garage to 68 degrees in 10 degree weather. I gave 5 stars despite the price though I really would like the price to be lower by at least 30-40 dollars after seeing that this is cheap foam.

Thought I ordered for a 2 car garage, it arrived today and one order will not work on a 2 car garage you need at least 16 sheets that's two orders. The paperwork indicated this product shipped from a Home Depot in Virginia even though I ordered via Amazon and the information said it is a company in California. Going to see if my local Home Depot has 8 more pieces because we need to get this done and cannot wait for a second order, but honestly I am not sure it's worth the money, it's only Styrofoam sheets. I think I can get this local faster now that I know it's carried at H.D. If we can't get the rest of it local, we will return it as the price does not reflect the value in my opinion and we needed it now due to time constraints and cannot wait another week for it to ship from Virginia.We may have to scrap the project and return it.

Worthwhile addition to a west facing garage door. Seems to have made quite a bit of difference in the garage temps. Not hard to install. A little bit of learning curve. What I hadn't thought of was the mess. Tiny styrofoam balls everywhere. Had the box shipped to work and put it in the back seat of my truck to get it home. The box wasn't tight and I got lot of little white balls all over my truck not to mention the area when I installed it. Used a blower in the garage to get them out and into one area and then sucked them up with a leaf vacuum. Recommended product
