Keyed outside lock assembly. 2 Keys, Mounting screws, Spacers – Spacers are used on steel garage doors and prevent the door skin from being compressed when the screws are drawn tight. Center to center of the handle & key is 2-1/4″. Center to center of the mounting screws is 3-7/8″. Works on doors 1″ to 2″ thick. It helps to spray the inside of the cylinder or key with silicone or a like product at installation and anytime there after that the key starts to drag or is hard to insert or remove. This is a very robust lock and handle combination and is used on many different brands of garage doors.

If you want to give a locksmith a challenge, have them try to duplicate the key that comes with this lock. We tried several in town and they all looked puzzled. Nobody seems to sell blanks for the keys that come with this lock. We haven't been able to duplicate the keys and are probably going to have to swap the lock out with something else.
