The adhesive is worthless. Will not stick to a retrofit surface. The screw grommets are too weak and can pop off too easily. With the adhesive not sticking gaps occur even if installed 8” to 10” apart. It took 2 hours to retrofit install on one 7” x 7” garage door.

My storage room has a roll up. It has leaked for 30 yrs. I finally purchased this and cleaned up the area and installed. Was not difficult at all to install, Has definitely stopped the leaks. The product so far appears to be durable and I would purchase again if needed.

Easy to use and apply. Came with enough necessary parts. Worked great on my garage. Screw caps came apart and some don’t click shut or screw go completely through.

Bought it to seal and small piece that was missing from my garage frame. It works great and now my garage is sealed for the winter. Install can be completed with one person but an extra hand is always great to have. It’s flexible not slippery. I’m not sure on the durability just yet

I had old seals that were cracked and last winter that garage was drafty and cold!So now that its fall a year later - checking this off the eventually to get to list.I just mounted this back exactly how the old seals came out. The only difference was the old seals used brad nails to hold it in place. So I like the fact screws were included with these frankly cheap plastic washer cap things but once installed hides the screws that affix the seal to the frame. The tape is a nice touch to at least HOLD the rubber gasket on the frame as you screw things in to make it permanent. My install super smooth and easy.. just make sure you have some sort of drill with some ugga duggahs to it.Time from start to finish... around 15-20 minutes (thats removal and install).End result - I dont see light around the garage doors and noticeably less draft! I can work in the garage on more projects in the winter!

This seemed to work ok. The plastic screw caps are pretty cheaply made.

Heavy duty seal 1 1/2 wide and thick. Old seal was 1/2 wide and not as thick. Installation was difficult for me I had to Install and remove 3-4 times on each door. I believe it is a good product and It makes a good seal. First time around I installed flush to inside of door molding so that 1 1/2 side of seal was pushed tight against door but when I tryed operating door it would not open and close properly got hung up on seal. I even tryed to lubricate seal edge with litium grease but still too tight had to back it way off. On final Install edge of seal Is 1/2-5/8 Inside of garage door molding and when door Is close It still gives you an inch around door face. Tips: If you change bottom seal first remove seals around top and side and adjust door for new seal on bottom . I adjusted close distance on opener so It did not crush new seal also adjusted top roller bracket to push top of door tight to molding. Then proceed with top and side molding Install top seal first then open and close door making sure no hang ups. Then do sides of seal checking operation as you go. You can screw right through seal without pre drilling screw holes also cut 45 degree angle on top seal then on side seal wait until installed push top seal out until it meets side seal and mark with sharpie and cut. Depending on how deep seal is set will determine degree of cut on seal doing two 45 angle degree cuts may leave a gap. Also just snug screws in plastic cap if you over tighten it distorts cap and cover will not snap in properly.

I bought two kinds from different seller at the same time as I have three car garage I didn't think it would be too noticeable, but you can see competitor severely discolor 2 months later in the heat/sun. The one on the left in my image is competitor (more expensive, ridged and heavier, more difficult to install) the one on the right is this product. Its a little more flexible and lighter weight but does the job the same. I pre-drilled while it is up and slightly sticking so screw drove in quickly and clean. I like this product better than competitor as it does not discolor and a true white. quicker to install on my end as it was not as heavy and forms easy.
